Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor at our Faribault, MN location. You will provide operational leadership to hourly staff, supervise drivers, and ensure daily tasks align with customer goals and cost objectives.

Strong communication and leadership are required to drive performance and change. The role covers scheduling, safety, and workforce management with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership qualities with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must have ability to work efficiently and independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Ability to manage through a problem, think critically, and make decisions independently.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to ensure daily task execution.
• Supervise drivers and dispatch operations at the location.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance standards and provide coaching.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer service expectations.
• Participate in hiring processes and performance management.
