Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to oversee day-to-day operations across departments. You will mentor and coach team members, drive customer service excellence, and ensure staffing and training are aligned with store goals.

You will manage P&L, shrink, and sales targets while upholding Meijer standards and safety. This role emphasizes staff development, fair performance evaluations, and delivering a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; customer service and product flow experience helpful.
• Ability to communicate clearly to team members and provide direction.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Support succession planning and promote team development and promotion decisions.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
