Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool Department at the New Brunswick campus. The RN will provide expert nursing care across oncology units, including trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology, while adapting to varied patient needs.

The role requires ASN/ Nursing Diploma, 2+ years oncology experience, and a BSN within 5 years or currently enrolled. BLS and ACLS are required, with NJ RN license active.

Qualifications

ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
2+ years of Oncology experience required.
BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire.
ONS oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care within the scope of practice.
Supervise and direct delegation to team members.
Collaborate with the patient care team for safe, evidence-based care.
Maintain safety and report hazards and medical errors.
Support unit priorities with effective communication and teamwork.
