Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Oncology Float Pool Department at the New Brunswick campus. The RN will provide specialized nursing care across oncology populations and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role requires ASN or Nursing Diploma with 2+ years oncology experience, and a BSN within five years of hire. NJ RN license and BLS/ACLS required.

Qualifications

• ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
• 2+ years of oncology experience.
• BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• ONS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to support staff.
• Ensure safety, report hazards and medical errors promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Apply evidence-based practice and pursue ongoing knowledge improvement.
