Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Night Shift Staff Nurse to ensure continuity of high-quality patient care within the Jefferson 5D Trauma unit. The role involves planning staff assignments, providing direct nursing care, and evaluating outcomes to support safe, evidence-based practices.

You will coordinate shift activities, participate in routine in‑service education, and collaborate with physicians and staff to uphold standards of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.
• TN RN licensure to work in state.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience.
• At least 1 year charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan staff assignments, provide direct patient care, and evaluate outcomes of care within the assigned unit.
• Coordinate, implement, and monitor shift activities to facilitate efficient unit operations and maintain patient care plans.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of unit-specific procedures and policies.
• Assess the patient's physical, emotional, and social circumstances; conduct nursing rounds; determine if planned care has been provided; make referrals as needed.

Education

Graduate of an approved nursing school/program

Registered nurse licensure to work in TN

Current CPR/BLS certification

Minimum 1 year clinical experience

At least 1 year charge nurse experience (preferred)
