Job summary

Innova Solutions is hiring a NOC Technician for the Annapolis, Maryland area on a full-time/contract basis. The role involves monitoring network systems, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with telecom providers to restore services.

The ideal candidate has Network+ (CCNA preferred), ITIL familiarity, and experience with Cisco devices. This is a 12-month contract with possible extension, working MID shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am).

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or 2 years of relevant experience.
• HS Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and Cisco devices.
• ITIL/ITSM concepts familiarity.
• Remedy/Netcool/ServiceNow knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems, routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, and telecom equipment.
• Troubleshoot network, system, and connectivity issues and escalate when needed.
• Track incidents in ticketing tools and update accordingly.
• Support IP networks, messaging and air-to-ground systems.
• Work in a 24/7 NOC environment including weekends and holidays.
