Job summary

Novul Solutions seeks an experienced Network Administrator for the 3rd shift to support CESO in a secure DoD environment. You will oversee overnight network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response for migration to secure cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include preserving availability, performance, and security of mission-critical networks, configuring routers/switches, and handling BGP/OSPF, 802.1X, and IPSec VPN tunnels during off-hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; 4+ years of relevant experience.
Experience monitoring enterprise network performance, security, availability, and connectivity.
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches.
Experience with BGP and OSPF dynamic routing protocols.
Experience configuring and supporting 802.1X.
Experience troubleshooting site-to-site/IPSec VPN tunnels.

Responsibilities

Monitor network connectivity, performance, security, and availability to ensure continuous access to mission-critical services.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, escalating as needed.
Configure, install, and troubleshoot enterprise routers, switches, and network devices.
Configure BGP/OSPF, 802.1X, VPN tunnels, and related infrastructure.
Plan and perform network maintenance, upgrades, and security improvements.
Support 24x7 operations during the 3rd shift as required.
