Job summary

Computer World Services Corp. is seeking a Night Shift Incident Manager to lead the response to IT incidents affecting NIH infrastructure and users.

You will serve as the central authority during incidents, coordinate TOC, network, and server teams, and ensure rapid restoration and clear updates to leadership and service owners. This on-call, hybrid role requires strong communication, decisive decision-making, and experience with ITSM processes and monitoring tools such as SL1 and SiteScope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year accredited school program and 4 years of related experience.
• Associates degree from an accredited program and 6 years of related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High‑level understanding of NIH/CIT infrastructure, monitoring tools, and ITSM processes.
• Ability to synthesize complex information quickly and make informed decisions.
• Calm and steady demeanor under pressure; ability to manage stressed personnel.
• Strong leadership qualities, including ability to direct diverse technical teams.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Experience participating in or leading major incident responses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee incident response as primary authority for incident decisions.
• Assess incident severity and declare incident levels; escalate as needed.
• Evaluate technical information from monitoring tools and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Direct communications updates to leadership, ICs, and service owners.
