Job summary

novulsolutions seeks an experienced Network Administrator for the 3rd shift to support CESO in a high-security DoD environment. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise networking, including BGP/OSPF routing, 802.1X, and IPSec VPNs, ensuring availability of mission-critical services.

The role requires guidance through complex incidents, with on-call support during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Prior DISA/cloud experience is a plus, and a 4+ year background is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience monitoring enterprise network performance, security, availability, and connectivity.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and switches.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Experience configuring and supporting 802.1X.
• Experience troubleshooting site-to-site/IPSec VPN tunnels.
• Ability and willingness to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM) and support a 24x7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network connectivity, performance, security, and availability to ensure access to mission-critical services and mitigate outages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, service, and access issues; escalate complex incidents as needed.
• Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise routers, switches, and supporting software.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, 802.1X, S2S, and IPSec VPN tunnels.
• Plan and implement maintenance, upgrades, and security improvements to strengthen reliability.
• Review and resolve user requests related to network access and enterprise services.
• Support 24x7 network operations and incident response during the 3rd shift.
