Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications within the licensed scope and provide daily resident care according to each resident’s care plan. This full-time role involves 3pm-11pm shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with hourly wages of $17-$20.

Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will document medication administration, assist with activities of daily living, and support residents in dining and social programs while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, administer medications within the scope of your license.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and any adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility as directed.
• Support residents during dining, leisure activities, and social programs.
• Observe residents’ health and report changes to the nurse promptly.
• Respond to resident requests for assistance in a courteous and timely manner.
• Promote safety by following infection control and safety guidelines.
