Job summary

Milestone Retirement in Englewood, CO is seeking a Medication Aide/Tech to provide medication management and support activities of daily living for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will follow each resident's service plan, communicate with medical professionals, and help ensure safety and well-being while supporting regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• One year of caregiving experience.
• Six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to MARs.
• Understanding of medical terminology adequate to administer medications.

Responsibilities

• Follow each resident's service plan, including passing medications per physician orders.
• Document completion of daily tasks and observed changes in residents' conditions.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides to ensure consistent care.
• Participate in meal service and assist with dining room activities.
• Supervise staff during working hours.
• Maintain required certifications and attend ongoing training.
• Follow all regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Report suspected elder maltreatment to the Director or Executive Director.
