Job summary

Milestone is seeking a Medication Aide/Tech to provide medication management and support Activities of Daily Living for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will follow care plans, administer meds per physician orders, and communicate with medical professionals and families to safeguard residents' health.

In this role you’ll document daily tasks, participate in meals, supervise staff during shifts, maintain certifications, and uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in caregiving role or similar function.
• Supervisory experience in health-related field.

Responsibilities

• Follow each resident’s service plan, including passing medications per physician orders and MARs.
• Document completion of daily tasks and observed changes in residents’ conditions.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides to ensure consistent care.
• Participate in meal service and dining room duties.
• Manage staff under your supervision during working hours.
• Maintain required certifications and attend ongoing training and in-service programs.
• Comply with CQI program and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow local, state and federal rules including HIPAA and OSHA.
