Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Medication Aide/Tech to provide medication management and support for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will deliver care per resident plans, communicate with medical professionals and families, and help keep residents safe and well.

Requirements include CNA or HCA with Nurse Delegation, at least one year in caregiving, and six months supervisory health experience. Join us to support aging adults with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of caregiving experience.
• At least six months of supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to Medication Administration Records.
• Must be 18 years or older and meet health requirements including TB clearance.
• First Aid certification required.
• CNA or HCA with Nurse Delegation as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow each resident’s service plan in a friendly and supportive manner, including passing medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Document completion of daily tasks and observed changes in residents’ conditions.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides to ensure consistent care.
• Participate in meal service, including serving, clearing, and cleaning the dining room.
• Manage staff under your supervision during working hours.
• Maintain required certifications and attend ongoing training and in-service programs.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
• Report elder maltreatment or abuse to supervisors or State authorities.
• Work safely and foster a safe work environment for all employees.
• Support teamwork, take initiative, and maintain a positive impact on residents, visitors, and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
