Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking an on-call Medication Aide/Tech to manage medications and assist with Activities of Daily Living for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will follow resident service plans, communicate with healthcare professionals and families, and help maintain resident safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year in caregiving with supervisory exposure, and ability to read physician orders and MARs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year caregiving experience with six months of supervisory exposure.
• Ability to read physician orders and match them to MARs.
• Medical terminology familiarity for medication administration.
• State certifications as required and TB clearance.
• First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per physician orders and MARs.
• Document daily tasks and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Communicate resident needs with other aides for consistent care.
• Assist with meals, dining room service, and cleanup.
• Supervise staff during working hours.
• Maintain certifications and participate in training.
