Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a Medication Tech for Arete at Grande Ronde in La Grande, Oregon. This full-time, overnight (NOC) position runs 10pm–6am and focuses on administering medications and delivering direct care to residents in memory care or assisted living settings.

Responsibilities include following physician orders under RN supervision, accurate documentation in electronic medical records, monitoring residents, communicating with healthcare providers, and supporting a safe,

Qualifications

• Experience as Caregiver and Medication Tech in memory care or assisted living.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Food Handler's Card required or preferred.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with residents.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications per physician orders under RN supervision.
• Administer accurately and timely and record in EMR.
• Notify pharmacy or family when refills are needed.
• Maintain clean medication cart and medication room.
• Monitor and report side effects and residents' health changes.
• Follow care plans and assist with medical appointments.
• Document changes in residents' status and outcomes.
• Complete incident reports and follow facility policy.
• Support safety and work with care team.
