Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a dedicated Medication Tech for Arete Desert Sage Memory Care in Bend, OR. This full-time day shift role involves administering medications under RN supervision, documenting in EMR, and supporting residents with care plans.

The position requires CPR/First Aid, a Food Handler's Card, and experience in memory care or assisted living. You will work closely with a licensed nurse and care team to ensure safety and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable during employment.
• Food handler's card required.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.
• Experience in memory care unit or assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications according to physician orders under RN supervision.
• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Document medications in resident records and EMR.
• Notify pharmacy or family for refills as needed.
• Maintain organized medication cart and room.
• Monitor and report medication side effects to health director.
• Assist with care plans and resident assessments.
• Support residents during appointments and coordinate with providers.
