Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Aurora, CO is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to operate and maintain critical facility systems. The role covers HVAC, electrical power, UPS, generators, and controls with a night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM and an 8% differential.

The candidate should have 4+ years of hands-on data center experience, relevant HVAC/electrical certifications, and strong problem-solving skills to support safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on data center/critical facility experience.
• Experience with UPS, emergency generators, switchgear, and mechanical cooling.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or union apprenticeship preferred.
• Universal Technician certification for CFCs within 90 days if required.
• Able to work night shift 6 PM–6 AM with 8% differential.

Responsibilities

• Operate building mechanical and electrical systems safely and efficiently.
• Install, maintain, repair and operate critical mechanical and electrical systems.
• Learn building controls, UPS and BAS systems; participate in training.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment rounds and service requests.
• Inspect pumps, fans, valves, and motors; interpret blueprints and specs.
• Maintain records and support KPI-related initiatives.
