Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Building Engineer for our LaGrange, GA data center location. This night-shift role oversees HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems—ensuring continuous uptime and safe operation.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on UPS, generators, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, pumps, and related equipment while using CMMS for work orders and collaborating with vendors. A strong focus on safety and documentation is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with building systems including UPS, emergency generators, and switchgears.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance of all building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Analyze system operation, identify malfunctions, and implement corrective actions.
• Record readings and manage readings using CMMS; support vendor management and customer-facing tickets.
• Assist with safety procedures and hazardous materials handling.
