Job summary

JLL is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Operating Engineer for the Evening 3rd Shift (11PM-7AM) to support critical environments. You will assist in hands-on maintenance, monitor systems, and conduct preventive maintenance, while ensuring safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, at least four years in building maintenance, HVAC/electronic trade training, and Universal CFC certification, with union training acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant building maintenance experience.
• Trade school degree in HVAC or related field preferred.
• Universal CFC certification (or obtained within 90 days).
• Union training/certification acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and operate mechanical, electrical and power generation equipment and systems for the critical environment.
• Operate systems safely and efficiently in line with regulations and SOPs.
• Learn building control, electrical and UPS systems via on-the-job training and manuals.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance and equipment rounds; follow PM programs.
• Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves, and motors to ensure proper operation.
