Job summary

Embassy Suites Philadelphia - Airport is seeking a dedicated Front Office professional to perform nightly MOD duties, complete the shift checklist, and coordinate with the General Manager, Engineering, Housekeeping and F&B teams.

You will manage guest resolutions, handle emergencies with authority, and assist any department as needed. Proficiency with OnQ front office and the Simphony POS system is required, and flexibility with schedules is expected to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospitality.
• Strong problem-solving and guest-resolution skills.
• Regular attendance and reliability in a PM shift.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete a nightly MOD checklist and send copies to the General Manager, Engineer, Housekeeping and F&B teams.
• Manage guest resolution process to include investigation of situation and creative problem solving to ensure guest is satisfied with outcome.
• Handle emergencies that may develop in the hotel, with full authority to contact all providers and ensure all issues are handled and reported.
• Assist any department that is short staffed or needs additional help.
• Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's job descriptions and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time.
• Accurately manage and operate the OnQ system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often, including Night Audit
• Have knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and be ready to assist in the restaurant should the need arise
• Have knowledge/understanding of the Simphony POS system
