Job summary

Embassy Suites Philadelphia - Airport is seeking a capable Front Office/Night Audit professional to manage daily operations and guest resolutions. You will complete the nightly MOD tasks, oversee front desk activities, and ensure smooth communication with all hotel departments.

The role requires strong customer service skills, problem solving, and familiarity with OnQ and Simphony systems to support guest satisfaction and hotel efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Complete a nightly MOD checklist and distribute copies to GM, Engineer, Housekeeping and F&B teams.
• Manage the guest resolution process, investigate situations and use creative problem solving to satisfy guests.
• Handle emergencies with authority to contact providers and ensure issues are addressed and reported.
• Assist departments that are short staffed or need additional help.
• Understand Front Office staff duties and be able to perform them as needed.
• Accurately operate the OnQ front office system and process daily transactions including Night Audit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and assist in the restaurant if needed.
• Understand and use the Simphony POS system.

What you will be doing

• Complete a nightly MOD checklist and send copies to the General Manager, Engineer, Housekeeping and F&B teams.
• Manage guest resolution process to include investigation of situation and creative problem solving to ensure guest is satisfied with outcome.
• Handle emergencies that may develop in the hotel, with full authority to contact all providers and ensure all issues are handled and reported.
• Assist any department that is short staffed or needs additional help.
• Have complete understanding of Front Office staff's job descriptions and duties and be able to perform duties at any given time.
• Accurately manage and operate the OnQ system at the front office, including all daily transactions and those which are not performed often, including Night Audit
• Have knowledge of Food and Beverage operations and be ready to assist in the restaurant should the need arise
• Have knowledge/understanding of the Simphony POS system
