Job summary

City Wide of Atlanta is hiring a Night Manager to oversee quality control of general operations, ensure client satisfaction, and supervise Independent Contractors. The NM will work independently and with teams across various facilities, reporting concerns to management and coordinating with others to meet client needs.

The ideal candidate has prior management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with Facility Solutions Manager about issues and nightly recap.
• Recommend IC work assignments, manage to client standards, and discharge for SLAs.
• Manage inspections, customer complaints, requests, new starts, or VIP treatment.
• Execute City Wide’s new start policy, customer complaint policy, and four-star policy.
• Ensure compliance with client policies, approved tools and equipment usage.

Job Description

The Night Manager (NM) is responsible for the quality control of general business operations, increasing client satisfaction, and working productively with Independent Contractors (IC). The NM must be able to work independently and with others, in any type of facility including but not limited to; industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, retail, etc. The NM must also be able to exercise good judgment in reporting client concerns to management and seeking the involvement of others in order to best meet clients’ needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) and in-house labor by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems.
2. Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
3. Communicate with Facility Solutions Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap via email or phone message.
4. Make recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and discharge if not meeting service level agreement.
5. Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or VIP treatment needing attention.
6. Execute City Wide’s new start policy, customer compliant policy, four star policy and other operational policies and procedures.
7. Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Three years of prior experience in management, coaching, motivating, developing and leading a team in multi-unit or locations
• Strong planning, organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement
• MS Office/Excel
