Job summary

Emerus is seeking a licensed Vocational/Nurse Practitioner (LVN/LPN) to provide focused nursing care during night shifts at a small-format hospital facility. You will work under RN supervision and contribute to the patient’s plan of care while maintaining quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED and graduation from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Experience: Two years as LVN/LPN in an acute care setting.
• Certifications: Valid LVN/LPN license, BLS and ACLS per American Heart Association; Pedagogy IV cert required within 30 days of hire.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients with predictable health care needs as directed by RN and care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Perform focused patient assessments per policy.
• Administer medications per policy.
