Emerus is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN for a night shift opportunity. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care under the supervision of an RN and support the patient care plan in a small-format hospital setting.

The role requires a valid LVN/LPN license, BLS and ACLS, and two years of acute care experience. This is a full-time position with a focus on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the state you practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances may be required.
• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients as directed by the RN and the care plan.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation reflecting the plan of care.
• Performs focused patient assessments per state nurse practice act and policies.
• Administers medications following organizational policies.
• Communicates with patients, families and the health care team to coordinate care.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Adheres to infection control, isolation procedures, and aseptic techniques.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
