Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide safe, compassionate care to patients in a 16-bed small-format hospital.

The LVN works under the supervision of an RN to implement the patient’s plan of care per state nurse practice acts. Responsibilities include accurate documentation, focused assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed LVN/LPN in the state of practice
• Current BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire
• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting
• Position requires fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to patients under direct supervision of the RN
• Completes accurate and timely documentation reflecting the plan of care
• Performs focused patient assessments per policy and state nursing act
• Administers medications in accordance with organizational policies
• Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and adheres to infection control procedures
• Attends staff meetings and performs additional duties as required
