Job summary

Penske is seeking a Load Planner to coordinate freight movement and customer service for night shift operations in Indiana. You will plan shipments, load builds, tender to carriers, and update systems while ensuring timely visibility for customers and management.

Responsibilities include load-building, monitoring emails, providing excellent service to assigned accounts, tracking shipments, creating daily logs, and supporting other teams as needed in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Load-building — add shipments to a load, rate a load, secure carrier coverage and appointment setting.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to assigned account(s).
• Call Center and shared email box responsibility.
• Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking shipments, auditing, and troubleshooting issues.
• Recover customer loads.
• Complete daily logs and trackers; provide instructions for various customers and shifts.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
