Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's in Business or SCM preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to learn and regularly operate various computer systems across different platforms.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers as well as Penske associates.
• Ability to use critical thinking to analyze information, communicate appropriately, make decisions within the SOP, solve problems, evaluate results, and determine if further action is needed.
• Ability to work First, Second and Third shifts as needed. Flexibility with scheduling required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load-building: adding shipments to a load, rating a load, securing carrier coverage and appointment setting.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to assigned account(s).
• Call Center and shared email box responsibility.
• Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking shipments, oversight, auditing, load exception investigation, researching and troubleshooting operational issues.
• Recover customer loads.
• Complete daily logs and trackers; provide detailed instructions for various customers and shifts by phone and email.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
