Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1+ year experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and sense of urgency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must learn and regularly operate multiple computer systems across different platforms.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and Penske associates.
• Ability to use critical thinking to analyze information and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Load-building: add shipments to a load, rate a load, secure carrier coverage and appointment setting.
• Monitor and resolve MCP email messages.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to assigned accounts.
• Call Center and shared email box responsibility.
• Provide visibility to management and customers by tracking shipments and auditing processes.
• Recover customer loads and complete daily logs and trackers.
