Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education, training and relevant experience.
• 2-3 years in transportation, logistics, supply chain, dispatch, operations coordination, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, routing, load planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and multitasking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily linehaul operations plan; coordinate freight movement and select mode based on capacity, service, cost.
• Maximize independent contractor utilization and coordinate with ICs to maximize productivity.
• Coordinate purchased transportation resources and negotiate rates with external carriers and providers.
• Monitor freight movement and contractor productivity; identify opportunities to reduce empty miles and improve routing.
• Partner with customer service, dispatch, and service centers; communicate delays and recovery plans.
