Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC in Swedesboro, NJ is hiring a Lead, Bakery-Production Donut to supervise daily production and packing, ensure product quality, food safety, and on-time schedules.

Lead and develop team members, train on equipment and standard work, and support continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, compliant bakery environment. 3rd shift 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, hourly $25, with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Lead Operator experience in manufacturing, bakery, food production, or related environment.
• Ability to understand, operate, and adjust process controls as required.
• Ability to interpret scale readings, temperature readings, operating procedures, and safety documentation.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production and packing teams to achieve daily production goals and schedules.
• Monitor product quality, process compliance, and food safety standards throughout production.
• Support and train team members on equipment operation, standard work procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and SAP transactions to support operational reporting.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
• Promote continuous improvement through root cause analysis, waste reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Foster a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by ensuring adherence to GMP, food safety, and health and safety standards.
