Job summary

Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Bay Ridge, NY to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top-notch quality and service for customers.

You will lead the restaurant team through opening, prep and closing duties, coordinate with the chef leadership team, manage orders and deliveries, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. Overnight shifts include a $2 premium between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervising experience in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a fast-paced team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Coordinate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Receive and process kitchen orders and deliveries per protocol.
• Maintain communication to ensure stock levels and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen operational costs and adhere to budget guidelines.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and is well-maintained.
• Conduct pre- and post-service briefings with front- and back-of-house staff.
• Present a professional, ethical leadership style at all times.
