Job summary

Interface Systems in St. Louis, MO seeks a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time security events with live audio and two-way video, escalating appropriately and coordinating with emergency services.

The role demands strong communication, quick decision-making, and the ability to de-escalate threats across monitoring sites. The position offers a 5pm-1:30am schedule, 8–10 hour shifts, full benefits from day one, and performance/attendance bonuses plus a $500 new-hire incentive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of customer service, call center, dispatch, or security experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle urgent situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks and virtual tours of customer locations.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business opening/closing.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video systems.
• Take appropriate action based on incidents, including contacting emergency services.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve, escalate, or support security inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the system of record.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and perform video verification.
• Notify designated individuals as per customer instructions.
• Provide clear dispatch and life safety communication to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resets.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events with monitored sites.
• Use two-way audio to de-escalate real-time incidents.
• Handle loitering or trespassing situations with rapid decision-making.
• Document interactions and ensure follow-up for resolution.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life safety interventions.
