Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking an Inventory Control professional in Flint, MI to perform cycle counts and research discrepancies, ensuring accuracy of inventory and inbound deliveries. You're expected to help organize inbound counts, manage BOL discrepancies, and support packing, shipping labels, and weight records.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 2+ years in inventory control preferred.
• Computer literacy required; MS Office knowledge preferred.
• 2+ years warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong communication with management and team.
• Ability to perform basic math and work under pressure.
• Detailed, independent work capable; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Research discrepancies and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Plan and check inbound deliveries, including physical counts and BOL discrepancies.
• Oversee inventory rotations and ensure safe storage of materials.
• Prepare items for shipment, affix labels, and record weights and shipping charges.
• Track shipments and route items to departments; assist with outgoing/incoming shipments.
• Direct others in preparing shipments and handle space optimization.
