Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Flint, MI to plan, organize and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of products. You will supervise staff, hire, train, schedule, and manage performance while ensuring safety compliance and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities include developing team leaders, coordinating with drivers and dispatchers, and partnering with accounting to resolve invoicing issues.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in a warehouse leadership role, including team lead or supervisor responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, industrial management, supply chain management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage and distribution to meet internal and external requirements.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Develop team leaders to oversee daily routines of assigned teams.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and equipment operated safely.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and the accounting team on invoicing and issues.
• Meet with customers to discuss warehouse capabilities with sales.
