Fleet Engineers in Muskegon, Michigan seeks a Production Planner responsible for inventory movement, storage, and accuracy. The role focuses on daily cycle counts, ERP data entry, and maintaining inventory integrity across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

The position emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and the ability to operate a forklift while coordinating with production to ensure smooth material flow and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in inventory control or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to operate and maintain a forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct daily cycle count activities.
• Collect and enter data into the ERP system.
• Generate daily cycle count variance report and review in daily production meeting.
• Analyze, investigate and assist in correcting inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with incoming inventory, receiving discrepancies and negative inventory.
• Monitor production and warehouse for proper flow of goods and storage.
• Train cycle count team members, provide back‑up support and guidance for other department members as needed.
• Update and maintain cycle count and inventory control related work instructions.
