Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Flint, MI is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to perform daily cycle counts and resolve discrepancies in ASW. You will plan inbound deliveries, verify shipments, and help manage warehouse rotations while upholding safety procedures.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory control, strong numeracy, and MS Office proficiency. You may work with domestic and international shipments and contribute to a culture of safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of inventory control experience preferred.
• Computer literacy; MS Office knowledge preferred.
• 2+ years of Warehouse/Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Fluent English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Research discrepancies between counts and ASW records.
• Plan inbound deliveries and check BOL discrepancies.
• Oversee inventory rotations to optimize space and safety.
• Verify shipments against bills of lading and invoices.
• Assist in selecting carriers for domestic and international shipments.
• Track shipments and maintain related records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
