Job summary

Shively Diversified Management Services in Flint, MI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will support safe operations, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain accurate cycle counts and material handling.

The role requires basic inventory knowledge and experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving. You will use MS Office and warehouse software, work with little supervision, and support other departments to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management is desirable.
• Experience in warehousing, shipping, or receiving preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify quantities against shipping documents.
• Record shipment information in the company system.
• Report discrepancies to the Customer Service Manager.
• Fill orders using shelf inventory and package materials for shipping.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand carts safely.
• Store materials in correct warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory counts and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
