Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support the General Merchandise and Food Sales areas, ensuring product availability, accurate pricing, and a welcoming guest experience on the sales floor.

You will greet customers, assist with finding products, and handle daily tasks from stocking to checkout support, while following all safety and compliance guidelines in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft and initiate warm interactions
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support team efforts and assist peers while staying positive and respectful
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy guest experience
• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor
• Operate powered equipment if certified and unload freight
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items per laws
• Demonstrate safety and compliance culture and report hazards
• Work safely and uphold safety policies and training
• Assist guest services like back-up cashier and drive-up while maintaining compliance
