Fairmont Austin, a premier luxury hotel in downtown Austin, is seeking team members for In Room Dining. Reporting to the In Room Dining Manager, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences and coordinate timely, accurate service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous POS system experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Have full knowledge of all beverage lists and menu items.
• Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner.
• Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Follow daily assigned employee shift side work.
• Double check VIP orders with manager on duty.
• Communicate special guest needs to manager on duty.
• Pace all IN Room Dining order distribution and deliveries.
• Assist with amenity delivery and equipment removal as needed.
• Maintain supplies properly stored and organized.
