Job summary

Fairmont Austin, Austin's premier luxury hotel, seeks a guest-focused team member for Food & Beverage service. You will deliver food and beverages with attentiveness, knowledge of menus, and impeccable hospitality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include assisting guests with menu items, ensuring accurate orders, and maintaining safety and sanitation policies. Growth opportunities exist within Accor’s global brand.

Qualifications

• Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Have full knowledge of all beverage lists and menu items.
• Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner.
• Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
• Follow daily assigned employee shift side work.
• Double check all VIP orders with your manager on duty.
• Immediately communicate all special guest needs to your Manager on duty.
• Pace all In Room Dining order distribution and deliveries to our standards.
• Assist with amenity delivery.
• Assist coordinating removal of IRD equipment from guest rooms and public areas and sorting out all retrieved condiments and equipment’s and stored accordingly.
• Maintain departmental requisitioned supplies properly stored and organized.
• Other duties as assigned
