Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced RN for the Medical ICU unit on night shifts. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a high-acuity patient population in a nine-story academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and revise a plan of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement the plan of care and provide direct nursing care per physician orders and standards.
• Evaluate patient and family response and adjust the care plan as needed.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes in the patient record.
