Job summary

Banner - University Medical Center South in Tucson invites experienced Registered Nurses to join the 4 South unit (40 beds). This full-time, day-shift role offers 7:00 AM–7:30 PM hours, an 18% differential for night shifts when applicable, and a self-scheduling tool for weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care setting is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning based on assessments and input from patient/family.
• Implement the plan of care with coordination and supervision of the care team.
• Evaluate patient response to care and adjust plans as needed.
• Document assessments, plans and outcomes in the patient record with timely accuracy.
• Provide care in accordance with physician orders, policies, and standards of care.

Education

RN license (state of practice)

Bachelor's degree preferred
