Job summary

Northwest Healthcare is seeking a dedicated ICU RN for a full-time role at a Tucson area hospital. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through all stages of the nursing process, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support families while managing complex patient needs.

The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience, active RN licensure, and BCLS certification. ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience required.
• Current RN state licensure and/or compact state licensure.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and life-saving activities.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
• Document care promptly in the medical record.
• Engage in professional development and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
