Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a part-time Security Officer for night shifts (11:30pm–8:00am) weekends only, to protect staff, patients and property. The role includes responding to incidents, performing rounds, providing escorts, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; hospital security experience preferred. St.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Prior hospital security officer experience is preferred.
• Fingerprints and background check during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with high-quality service and courtesy.
• Report accidents or incidents promptly.
• Conduct safety rounds and identify hazards.
• Open/close buildings as needed and monitor lighting.
• Provide escort services to visitors and assist motorists.
