Cleveland Clinic Health System in Garfield Heights is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator for the Med/Surg & Telemetry unit at Marymount Hospital. This role supports patient flow and communications to ensure smooth daily operations on 2 East/2 South.

The caregiver greets patients, responds to call lights, assists with admissions and discharges, maintains records, and delivers exceptional service to patients and families. Night shift, 7:00 pm–7:30 am, with growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Experience with typing, computer training or equivalent coursework.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and orient new admissions.
• Respond to patient call lights and make rounds.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Help patients and families with wayfinding and resources.
• Assemble and maintain patient records and documents.
• Handle computer tasks including scheduling and patient information management.
• Assist with unit clerical functions and troubleshoot equipment.
