Job summary

Carvana is hiring for a boots-on-the-ground Safe & Secure position at our Ohio location. You’ll protect associates, customers, and vehicles, manage gate interactions, monitor security systems, and enforce safety protocols daily.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment. 24/7 operations require reliable attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a customer service environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A track record of solid decision-making in a complex, fast-moving environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and connect with people quickly.
• Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to handle conflict in a positive, productive way.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Carvana at the gate for associates, vendors, and visitors.
• Use the Safe & Secure App and RFID tech to enforce ingress/egress procedures.
• Monitor live cameras, review footage, and investigate alerts.
• Lead with a service-first mindset in every interaction.
• Maintain safety and security protocols across all weather conditions.
• Collaborate with Inspection Center and Logistics teams.
