Job summary

Residence Inn/SpringHill Suites Indianapolis is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee nightly front desk operations. You will reconcile the day’s financial activity, ensure accurate reporting, and provide exceptional guest experiences during the overnight shift.

You will also assist with manager-on-duty coverage and maintain smooth cross-function communication. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage reservations, payments, and reports while upholding

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: One to two years in an accounting or front office position preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours with occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a front desk agent, including guest check-in/check-out, reservation handling, and responding to guest inquiries.
• Reconcile daily front desk activity and ensure accuracy in accounting processes.
• Run the trial balance to post rooms and prepare next-day reports for multiple departments.
• Provide exceptional guest service, greet guests, and handle complaints promptly.
• Handle payments, maintain a house bank, and prepare receipt reports.
• Operate safety deposit boxes and post miscellaneous charges as needed.
• Answer phones, manage reservations, and coordinate check-ins/outs efficiently.
• Assist with transportation arrangements and guest services as required.
