Four Points by Sheraton in Deadwood, SD is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to warmly greet guests, check them in and out, answer inquiries, and provide accurate information about local attractions, dining, and entertainment. The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and service excellence.

You will manage reservations, issue room keys, maintain front desk cleanliness, and operate the PMS and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel property management systems.
• Ability to learn front desk procedures (check-in/check-out) and related tasks.
• Strong communication and listening skills with the public and team members.
• Working knowledge of MS Office; hotel PMS experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment with attention to detail.
• Dependable with reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Make room reservations and check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Issue room keys, pamphlets, discount cards, etc.
• Provide information to guests about hotel services, entertainment, shopping, and travel.
• Ensure confidentiality, security and safety of guests regarding front desk communications.
• Arrange transportation for guests.
• Compute bills, post charges, collect payment and make change.
• Run various reports—handwritten and computer.
• Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and lobby area.
• Wear a uniform and nametag at all times on property.
• Other duties as assigned.
