Qualifications

• High school qualification or equivalent.
• Previous hospitality experience would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and problem solving skills
• Well-presented and professional appearance.
• Competency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn on the job.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work primarily alone and occasionally as a team.

Responsibilities

• Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and check guests out at the end of their stay.
• Maintain records of room assignments in the computer system.
• Explain charges and process payments at checkout.
• Answer questions about services, check-out times, and local community.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to resolve room issues.
• Balance cash handling and ensure signatures prior to processing transactions.
• Promote hotel programs and track business via the PMS.
• Handle guest mail and messages; maintain lobby area.
