Job summary

UFC GYM Port Reading is seeking a Front Desk Attendant to deliver the Ultimate Service Promise by providing superb member and guest service at the front desk. Responsibilities include assisting with memberships, greeting guests, handling calls, processing enrollments, checking in members, and keeping the front desk and lobby clean and welcoming.

This role requires overnight shifts (10pm–6am) and a High School diploma or GED, CPR/AED certification, with training and development opportunities

Qualifications

• Must be energetic with a friendly, outgoing personality and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
• Strong customer service focus, diplomacy and professionalism.
• Understands and follows oral and written instructions.
• Able to multi-task and perform tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Gym/Fitness industry experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with membership sales, enrollments, guest passes, late dues, and keep front desk, lobby, and locker room clean.
• Greet guests and members warmly and provide prompt assistance.
• Answer incoming calls in a professional and efficient manner.
• Ensure proper member check-in procedures are followed.
• Respond to member questions and escalate if needed.
• Maintain maintenance log, fitness profiles, and group fitness reservations.
• Report unsafe conditions or emergencies to management.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk and lobby at all times.
• Keep front desk, lobby, locker rooms, and common areas neat and presentable.
• Perform routine cleaning duties including mopping and dusting.
• Replenish supplies and locker room amenities as needed.
• Freshen and maintain locker rooms for a clean member experience.
• Monitor cleanliness standards and address maintenance or sanitation concerns.
• Support retail goals and ensure club meets targets.
• Coordinate with maintenance and janitorial staff to address issues.
